How Tidal labels AI music
Tidal labels recordings it determines are wholly AI-generated, does not pay royalties on them, and lets listeners turn off AI-labelled recordings in Settings.
The labels

“AI-generated”
Tidal determined the recording is wholly AI-generated. Partly AI-generated recordings are not labelled yet.
Where you see it
- Look for the AI label on the track; you can report untagged tracks through Tidal's support form ("AI flag review"). support.tidal.com
Can you hide or block AI music on Tidal?
Yes.
- Turn off AI-labelled recordings in Settings. They will stop playing and drop out of recommendations as those refresh.

Artists we have seen with a Tidal AI label
None in our files yet. Platforms roll labels out gradually, so a missing label is not proof of anything.
