    Spotify shows a “Likely AI Persona” badge on the artist profile. The badge text reads: “Spotify has applied this label because this artist reached the minimum audience for review and signals suggest their public identity may be AI-generated.” Spotify says the badge concerns the artist’s public identity, not how the music was made.     Deezer’s album page for “The Happening” (album, Jan 2, 2026) shows the “AI-generated content” notice: “This album includes tracks detected as generated with the use of AI.” “It’s All Happening” and “thasingularity!” carry the same notice.

    GQ South Africa interviewed Donald Woodard, the lawyer who represents Slime Dot’s creator. Woodard said: “In my interactions with Slime’s creator, the creator has never once tried to hide that Slime Dot is AI-generated,” and that the creator, a writer, composer and record producer, uses AI “as a tool”. The creator is not named.
