Is MEOMURU AI?

The MEOMURU YouTube channel, which links to the artist’s Spotify profile, says in Korean that MEOMURU writes the lyrics directly (“직접 가사로 쓰고”) and uses AI tools (“AI툴을 활용하여”) to turn everyday feelings into songs.

Deezer’s album page for “The Adult I Dreamed Of” (single, Jun 23, 2026) shows the “AI-generated content” notice: “This album includes tracks detected as generated with the use of AI.” “Youth on Pause” and “Amazing Incredible!” carry the same notice.

allkpop reported that the song climbed to No. 3 on the Melon Top 100 and ranked No. 4 on Oct 15, 2026, and that some listeners had reservations because it was made with AI.

In an exclusive interview published Oct 16, 2026, Kyunghyang Shinmun reported that MEOMURU’s songs are produced by the songwriting team Glorywave (글로리웨이브), Lee Yong Seok and Choi Sung Hyuk (이용석·최성혁), who answered its questions in writing on Oct 8; it says “The Adult I Dreamed Of” was made by entering prompts into Suno, with lyrics written by people.

The Korea Herald reported that “The Adult I Dreamed Of” reached No. 3 on Melon’s Top 100 and that, “according to the artist’s album description, the vocals were generated using the program Suno, while Meomuru wrote the lyrics and handled the overall production direction.”
