Country is the biggest genre in our files: 32 country artist files as of Oct 24, 2026. Sixteen of those acts have said themselves that they use AI or present an AI persona. Thirteen carry an AI label from Spotify or Deezer without a creator statement about the music, and two are conflicting. The last one is Luke Bryan, a human star who was accused of using AI and denied it. The full list is on our country page. Below, each act is grouped by what the evidence supports, not by how it sounds.
A note on the words. Spotify’s “AI Persona” badge is about whether the artist’s public identity is an AI-generated photorealistic person, not about how the music was made. “AI Persona” means the artist told Spotify; “Likely AI Persona” means Spotify reviewed the profile and decided (Spotify Support, checked Oct 24, 2026). Deezer’s “AI-generated content” notice means its detector found fully AI-generated tracks on an album (Deezer).
Breaking Rust: the act that topped a Billboard chart
Breaking Rust reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Country Digital Song Sales chart in Nov 2025 with “Walk My Walk”. Taste of Country found the songs credited to Aubierre Rivaldo Taylor and no BMI or ASCAP registrations under either name, and noted that topping that chart can take only about 3,000 sales (Taste of Country, checked Oct 24, 2026).
Our file records Spotify’s “Likely AI Persona” badge on the profile and Deezer’s “AI-generated content” notice on “Livin’ on Borrowed Time”. The creator has not made a public statement, so our verdict is “Platform AI label”. The SIQA registry and Apple Music’s biography credit the project to Aubierre Rivaldo Taylor. How Breaking Rust fits the wider chart picture is in AI songs on the charts.
Cain Walker and the Eddie Dalton creator
Wide Open Country reported on Apr 13, 2026 that Dallas Ray Little, a content creator in Greenville, South Carolina, made the blues act Eddie Dalton and “is also behind other AI-generated acts, including Cain Walker and Cody Crotchburn.” It added that Little “reportedly runs Crunchy Records”, a company that produces AI-generated music and videos under several fictional artist names. In a statement quoted in the same article, Little said “every social media video is clearly labeled as AI-generated” and “all of the songs are written by me” (Wide Open Country, checked Oct 24, 2026).
Little’s statements are about Eddie Dalton, which is why that file is “Creator disclosed AI”. Cain Walker is filed as “Platform AI label”: Spotify shows “Likely AI Persona”, Deezer tags an album, and Apple Music’s biography credits Little. More on him: Dallas Ray Little. Cain Walker’s song “I Don’t Care” has its own file.
Country acts that say they use AI
These files are “Creator disclosed AI”: the act said so itself, in a bio, on its website or by turning on Spotify’s AI Persona badge. Several say a human writes the lyrics and AI makes the sound.
Self-disclosed AI Persona on Spotify: Broken Trails, Dust & Harmony (its bio describes “Human-written lyrics” and “AI-assisted production”), Frontier Heart, JD Steel (its bio says it starts from JD’s own recorded voice and photo), Mason Crow, Noah Nine, Unbound Music and Vowless.
AI named in their own bio, site or channel:
- Aventhis: the channel owner wrote that the “voice and image is created with the help of AI” and that the lyrics are his.
- Biscuit Beats: “Hit Country Songs Made With AI” on its YouTube channel.
- Black River Whiskey: the site says the music was made “with the assistance of AI production and visual generation tools” and a human writer composes the songs.
- BURNIN’ BRIDGES Ai Music: its site uses “AI generated music artist” and also says the creator “personally performed, recorded, and fixed” each song.
- Colter Rayne: “Powered by AI but driven by heart”.
- Drew Meadows: “AI with heart, built to inspire”.
- Iron West: “created with the help of modern AI tools”, words by a human.
- Lone Star Lyric House: lyrics “100% human”, “AI-assisted sound and production”.
Each file links the statement and the date we read it.
Country acts with a platform AI label only
These acts have not said anything we could find. Spotify or Deezer applied a label, and that is all our file claims: Bronson Kane, Damon Price, Esme Rose, FM 1431, Jax Wilder, OUTLAW GOSPEL, Queen Butterfly, River Cain, The Naughty Jukebox and Topher Ryan, plus Breaking Rust and Cain Walker above.
Georgia Phantom, filed under hip-hop and country, is also “Platform AI label”: Deezer tags two of its albums. In a YouTube post the act says its team uses AI for video graphics and environments; it has not said whether AI is used in the music.
Two cautions. A “Likely AI Persona” badge can be appealed by the artist, and it is about the artist’s image, not the audio (Spotify Support). And Deezer applies its tag per album, so one tagged release does not cover a whole catalogue (Deezer). Topher Ryan is the clearest example: Deezer tags the single “Living Proof”, Spotify showed no badge, and the official site names Chris Jones and mentions being confused with a different AI project called TOPHER.
Conflicting: platform says one thing, the act another
- Doc Raven: Spotify shows “Likely AI Persona” and Deezer tags recent releases, but the official website calls him “a real human artist”, songwriter and producer Troy Foskey Jr. How much of the recordings involves AI is unconfirmed.
- Owen James: Deezer tags “When I Stand” and an AllMusic biography on Apple Music describes it as an AI country project, while the official site says “Human made”. Whether AI was used is unconfirmed.
For these two our verdict is “Unclear”. We don’t pick a side until the creator or a platform with a clear process settles it.
Luke Bryan: accused, and a human songwriting team
When Luke Bryan released “Fish Hunt Golf Drink” in May 2026, commenters said it sounded written by AI. Bryan said at the Memorial Pro-Am that “trolls” were “saying that I ‘AI’-ed it, which is completely false” (American Songwriter, checked Oct 24, 2026). Co-writers Chase McGill and Matt Dragstrem told Rolling Stone they have never used AI in their songwriting, that they wrote the hook at a sports bar before one of Bryan’s shows, and that Bryan wrote most of the verses (Rolling Stone, checked Oct 24, 2026). Our Luke Bryan file is “Human confirmed”. Sounding formulaic is not evidence of AI.
How to check a country singer yourself
- Open the artist’s Spotify profile and look for the AI Persona badge next to the name, then the “Artist Badges” section under About (Spotify Support).
- Look up an album on Deezer for the “AI-generated content” notice (Deezer).
- Read the bio and the official site. Many acts above say it in their own words.
- If nothing turns up, the honest answer is “unconfirmed”. Our guide on how to tell if a song is AI has the full checklist, and how to block AI music covers what each app lets you hide.
